Following Chris Eubank Jr’s victory against James DeGale last night, Billy Joe Saunders tweeted to imply he was less than impressed and would welcome a rematch between the two.
🙅🏻♂️🤷♂️🙅🏻♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ I would love to play a game of boxing with @ChrisEubankJr 👊

Saunders and Eubank Jr met at middleweight in November 2014, a contest which Saunders won via split decision, Saunders went on to win the WBO middleweight world title, while Eubank Jr moved up to super middleweight in 2017 to fight in the world boxing super series, losing in the semi-final to George Groves.
Saunders announced this week he will also be moving up to super middleweight to fight Shefat Isufi on April 13 at Wembley Arena, a rematch between the two down the line at super middleweight seems certainly doable. The main obstacle being Saunders fights on the BT sports platform while Eubank Jr has found a home with ITV.
Saunders v Eubank Jr II would certainly capture the imagination of boxing fans, who would win a rematch?
